I started at MINI 4 years ago on the recommendation of a service advisor when I brought my MINI in for routine maintenance. My Advisor mentioned in passing that I should apply since I love MINI. I was hesitant at first since I had no prior sales experience, but felt like I needed a change, and I knew that my MINI always made me smile. I applied, was offered a position, and it has been the “BEST" decision I have made in my professional career.

Have you worked in the automotive industry before? What brought you to the MINI team?

I worked in the automotive remarketing industry prior to MINI preparing vehicles for wholesale liquidation through auctions. What brought me to the MINI team was my love of the MINI product. While I was in for service, I was talking to a Service Advisor who stated I should work for MINI due to my contagious enthusiasm for the brand. I applied, and I was accepted, and it has been the most fun-filled and rewarding career experience. “I Love My Career”!

MINI is a dynamic and versatile brand, and its products are premium, fun and diversified just like its customers. FUN! FUN! FUN!

What is the typical successful MINI Motoring Advisor like? What characteristics would you use to describe them?

We are fun, professional and enthusiastic about all things MINI. We are self-starters, outgoing, dynamic, unique and loyal.

What is the most exciting or best part about your job?

I love the delivery. Watching someone at delivery is like Christmas morning. The anticipation and excitement in all that MINI offers. The pictures with vehicle and being a part of a memorable experience. Happy Motoring!

What types of training are offered to MINI dealer staff?

We are offered great training through digital media and on-site training. MINI is hands-on with product training and provides ongoing workshops to reinforce product knowledge.

Do you have any brand partnerships or sponsorship partners for sales and/or employee benefits at your dealer location?

We have ongoing sponsorships with the local MINI clubs and events. Employees are eligible for discounts on MINI accessories and vehicles. “Love This”!
